Vipers sign Kenyan striker Noah Wafula

Wafula has signed a three year deal with the Kitende based side.

By the look of things, Vipers Sports Club have not yet concluded their transfer business. The Venoms have signed Kenyan striker Noah Wafula from Kakamega Homeboys.

Wafula has signed a three year deal with the Kitende based side. The 28-year-old started his journey with Finlays Horticulture of Naivasha in 2011 before moving to AFC Leopards in 2013. In 2016, Tusker signed him before he proceeded to Kakamega Boys at the start of this year.

He joins a big pool of new players that have moved to Vipers. They include Abraham Ndugwa (Masavu), Rahmat Ssenfuka (Police), Bashir Sekagya and Joseph Janjali (UPDF), Ibrahim Kiyemba (SC Villa), Fred Okot (URA), Livingston Mulondo (Kirinya-Jinja SS) and Dickens Okwir (Amuka Bright Stars),Henry Katongole (SC Villa), Tito Okello among others.

Wafula has joined the rest of Vipers squad for the pre-season training camp in Mbale. He also has 12 caps to his name with the Harambee Stars (Kenya national team)  having made his debut on November, 13, 2013 in a 3-1 CECAFA Senior Challenge Cup win over South Sudan.
