Nyamityobora beat Kirinya Jinja 1-0 to progress to the semi-final of the Pilsner Super Eight.

The Pilsner Super Eight is a pre-season tournament played by the top six teams from last season top flight and two clubs that were promoted directly from FUFA Big League to Uganda Premier League.

Ibrahim Mpengere was on target as Nyamityobora came out victors

Uganda Breweries Limited (UBL) through their brand Pilsner are the official sponsors of the event.

Onduparaka FC, URA, SC Villa,  Ndejje University and KCCA are the other teams in the competition.

Nyamityobora joined KCCA who beat BUL 3-2 last weekend to become the first team to make it to the semi-final of the competition. League champions Vipers opted out of the competition due to other engagements.
