JINJA - BUL FC club striker, Hamis Tibita has set
himself a target of 15 goals  with the aim to eye for a senior
national team call.

The 20 year-old forward netted eight goals last season despite facing
a series of injuries during the half season period.

''Last season I featured for the national under 20 side with my
impressive record in the then previous league campaign of seven goals.

"But with my eight goals last term, I feel I can engine myself with a
personal best of 15 this time if the new coach gives me enough
playing time.

"I just want to help my club surprise many with a league
title fight, something that can also possibly earn me a call for the
Cranes, God willing,'' said Tibita .

The youngster, formerly a lower division side forward with Mpumudde
United FC and Mafubira FC both in Jinja, so far showed his impressive
show, earning himself as the cult hero at BUL FC as the most loved
player in the last two seasons at the club.

Club assistant coach Peter Onen feels that Tibita has the potential to
reach the top.

"Apparently the country does not have lethal strikers so
we should help to groom such upcoming ones like him," said Onen.
