Three arrested over murder of man

The Police in Mpigi district are holding three people in connection to the murder of a 20-year-old hawker.
 
MPIGI- David Ssimbwa, who was a resident of Kasubi, a Kampala suburb and a hawker of plastic products, was found dead in Twin Homeland Inn found in Buwama town council.
 
The body of Ssimbwa was found by one of the workers at the lodge who had come to clean the room and found Ssimbwa lying dead on the floor.
 
According to Joseph Musana, the police publicist for Katonga region, Police arrested three people of which two are ladies and one male adult to help Police with its investigations.
 
Among those currently held by the Police is a lady who is a sex worker whom the deceased allegedly slept with on Friday night.
 
According to one of the workers at the lodge who spoke on conditions of anonymity, Ssimbwa came with a lady to book a room and they later moved out and came back at the lodge around midnight.
 
The body of Ssimbwa was taken by Buwama Police to Gombe hospital mortuary for a postmortem report and later handed over to the relatives for burial.
 
The assailants are said to have ran away with some of the deceased's property, including his bag which allegedly had just obtained from the sale of his motorcycle.
