Wadri nominated for Arua, goes against his party

Former Terego county MP Kasiano Wadri Ezati was this morning nominated to contest in the Arua municipality by-election.

Ruth Angom, the Arua district returning officer declared Wadri duly nominated candidate for the race   amidst pomp and ululations.

Wadri's nomination followed that of Francis Nyero, an Independent candidate.

Speaking to the media after the nomination Wadri said he is ready to work with all categories of leaders to enable Arua attain city status.

Wadri who is standing on the independent ticket said rigidity and infighting forced him to go against his party.

Over 18 candidates had by press time picked nomination forms to contest in the Arua municipality by-elections.
