Busingye targets top scorer trophy

KAMPALA - Whereas her team (CKI) is targeting to successfully defend the Betway Ladies Pool League trophy, Angela Busingye is targeting the top Scorer Spot.

Busingye, who on Saturday collected three goals against Atagenda to stay 6 goals behind leader Sheila Ankar of Ronz Club Jinja who has 26 goals said that she, will use the remaining to game against close up the gap.

"Yes it is tough every player has stepped up her game but I Believe I can emerge the top scorer at the end of the season," Busingye stated.

Ankar has 26 goals while followed by Ritah Nimusiima of CKI, Jacinta Kajubi of Skin Samona with 23goals each while Marian Nanyonga and Michelle Nandawula both of Skin Samona are fourth and fifth respectively on scoreboard.

In the team standings, CKI is on top of the league standings with rivals Skin Samona tightly following in the second position.
