REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL FOR CONSULTANCY TO UNDERTAKE WILDLIFE & PROTECTED AREAS RANGER PERCEPTION SURVEY

The World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) is a global conservation organization that was founded in 1961. WWF's Mission is to stop the degradation of the planet's natural environment and to build a future in which human's live in harmony with nature. WWF Uganda Country Office (UCO) was established in 2009 by WWF International to promote its mission in the country as an integral part of WWF's mission in East Africa. WWF Uganda Country Office (WWF- UCO), works in partnership with the Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) and supports UWA in conserving, and sustainably managing the wildlife and protected areas of Uganda

WWF UCO, working in partnership with the UWA to improve the protection and management of wildlife and protected areas in Uganda intends to conduct a study (using prescribed tools) on protected area rangers' personal views of their working conditions, to gain a deeper insight into the factors that affect their motivation in executing their duties.
