The twelve-year-old won all three heats to beat his closest opponent

Uganda Motocross rider Stav Orland continued to impress on foreign soil when he came first in the Pala Race Qualifiers in the US on Saturday.

Competing in the 9-12 year old 85cc category, the twelve-year-old won all three heats to beat his closest opponent, Noah Gordon, who came second behind him in all heats.

It was a tight race for Stav but beautiful to watch how he controlled himself and maintained his top position. His starts were not as expected however he worked his way to the top less than half way in the second moto as well as in the first, according to his manager Evas Orland.

Jackson Glathar finished third overall after a poor start that saw him finish 6th in the first heat in the race that had 14 riders.

Stav's older brother Aviv Orland found the race tough in the 12-17 years 125cc class finishing 7th in the race that was won by Tommy Rios.

But Aviv's mother and Orland Brothers team manager Evas Orland projects a brighter future for the 16-year old.

"Aviv fought his way through but unfortunately he missed it. Being his first year competing on the 125cc and looking at his performance and dedication to get better, there is no doubt that he will get his wins sooner rather than later. We are confident in him because of his commitment to work hard which will eventually pay off," Evas said.

"It's a blessing to see how much improvement has come from Aviv and Stav in the one month of training. It's clear that this is only the beginning. With of course with God's grace, their strong and positive attitude, great support with training from Blake Wharton and Ray Leybovich it will only keep getting better with time," Evas stated.
