Committee to oversee SC Villa polls named

SC Villa has appointed five-man electoral committee to take charge of the club's forthcoming elections.

Maj. Evelyn Asiimwe, Member of Parliament representing the UPDF, is the chairman of the electoral committee while Central Youth MP, Sarah Babirye Kityo, will be her assistant.

Ivan Kakembo who bounced back as the club's interim CEO, Musa Bilunda and Sharon Adong are other members of the committee. Kakembo and Adong also double as the secretary and spokesperson of the committee respectively.

Friday Roberts Kagoro, Ronnie Mutebi and Charles Kodili are the members on the appeals committee.

Incumbent Ben Immanuel Misagga who has been at the helm since 2014, will be seeking his second term in the elections that will be held on August 24 atMasaka Royal Gardens.

Misagga will be in contention for the top seat against city lawyer Edgar Agaba, Muhammad Bazirengedde and Dennis Mbidde.
