CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR TECHNICAL AUDIT FOR UPGRADING OF KAPCHORWA-SUAM ROAD

The Government of Uganda has received a loan from the African Development Fund (ADF) towards the cost of the Upgrading of the Kapchorwa-Suam (73 Km) Road project and intends to apply part of the agreed loan proceeds to payments under the contract for Consultancy Services for Technical Audit of the Road Project.

The Kapchorwa-Suam Road Project is a multi-national operation that provides an important link between Uganda and Kenya by connecting through the border post of Suam. The road traverses three districts of Kapchorwa, Kween and Bukwo. The road project is to be upgraded to Bitumen Standard with double surface dressing with a carriageway width of 7m and 1.5-2.0m shoulders over the entire road length.
