TAKE NOTICE that companies appearing in the list below have not been compliant with the Legal Requirement of filing of pertinent company forms with the UGANDA REGISTRATION SERVICES BUREAU (URSB) as provided by Sections 61, 116, 132 and 228(5) of the Companies Act No 1of 2012.

TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that the same companies are not licensed with the INSURANCE REGULATORY AUTHORITY OF UGANDA (IRA), do not meet the Minimum Paid Up Share Capital requirements prescribed in Law and have hitherto been using the word ‘Insurance', ‘assurance' or ‘reinsurance' or similar derivations in English in their Company name in contravention of the Insurance Act.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the said companies should within 30 days from the date of this publication file the said Forms with the URSB, attain the required minimum share capital and a licence from the IRA or cease the use of the word ‘Insurance' or any derivation there from.

FAILURE to comply shall attract penalties and other lawful action by the Uganda Registration Services Bureau and the Insurance Regulatory Authority of Uganda.
