Arua: Three shot dead

The first gun shot took place at 3 am on Friday, where unidentified gun men attacked Baddiers bar located in Arua town, along post office road.

ARUA - Arua Police has reported three people that were shot dead by unknown people in Arua town. Investigations on the murder cases is underway.
 
According to Arua Police spokesperson for West Nile region, Josephine Angucia, the murders were carried out by unknown people on three different occasions.
 
The first gun shot took place at 3 am on Friday, where unidentified gun men attacked Baddiers bar located in Arua town, along post office road.
 
They are reported to have taken the life of  bar cashier, Adiga Thomas and ran away with a ransom, and also wounded two other people.  
 
Inquiries on the murders are underway under  case file Arua CRB1563/2018.
 
The second shooting took place later on at around 5am in Muni, an Arua suburb where Anguzu Rashid and another unnamed person were shot dead by the ‘gun men,' near Muni Primary School that is located in Muni Parish, Arua district.
 
Police recovered over fifteen cartridges of bullets and misfired bullets got bodies brought to Arua hospital, postmortem was done and inquiries are  at hand.
 
 But, similar to  the first shootings, police says they have not yet found any suspects to the murder case.
 
The third shooting happened on Sunday night when unknown people attacked a soldier who was guarding at a trade show in Arua Hill Boma ground and killed him.
 
The assailants took with them the gun of the army officer. Police and UPDF are still investigating the death of the officer whose identinty has to this date not been revealed.
