Islam and Hasahya shine as Aziz Damani upstage debutants Premier

Saud Islam and Emmanuel Hasahya heroics made the difference as holders Aziz Damani upstaged topflight debutants Premier by 262 runs Sunday at Kyambogo oval.

The former alone peeled apart the losing side by hitting a remarkable century of 102 from 80 runs in a rather free scoring innings.

Hasahya was brutal going for a near century of 91 from 109 runs en route to the team's 338 with 4 wickets to spare from their 50 allotted overs.

The chasing pack were indeed a no challenge for the mighty Damani as they were all out for 76 courtesy of Henry Senyondo who faired on the ball picking a " crazy" 8 wickets. Robinson Turinawe reached 34 from 45 balls for Premier. Damani are comfortably leading the log unbeaten.

Meanwhile Kutchi Tigers' false start prevailed in their thirdf game of the season when they were beaten by 40 runs at lugogo oval. All-rounder Davis Karashani scored a half century of 74 from 70 balls and claimed 3 wickets.  The Tigers have lost two and won one from their three games .

In division two, Budo registered a historic 5 runs win over Africa with Taha Ahmed scoring  a half century of 81 from 115 balls.

In division three, debutants Soroti Blazers continued with their scintillating form as they put Jinja SS to the sword, beating them by 4 wickets. Felix Musana led from the front  (37 from 45) before Aston Aisu claiming 2 wickets . the Blazers remain unbeaten in the third tier.
