We will not change approach on the continent - Mutebi

The defending Uganda Premier League champions are drawn in Group A

CAF Champions League

KCCA v Al Ahly (May 15)

KCCA coach Mike Mutebi has said he will stick to the same approach when he used in the 1-0 loss to Bostwana's Township Rollers in their opening game of the CAF Champions' League group stage.

"The way we played Township Rollers is the same way we face Al Ahly. We played well but we were not effective enough. The defeat has also boosted the performance of our players ahead of our next games," Mutebi said.

The defending Uganda Premier League champions are drawn in Group A with record winners Al Ahly (Egypt), two time winners Espérance de Tunis (Tunisia) and Township Rollers. They host Al Ahly in their first home game on May 15 at Namboole Stadium.

In March, KCCA eliminated Ethiopia's St George 1-0 on aggregate, to become the first Ugandan club to progress to the group stages of the tournament, since the introduction of its current iteration in 1997.
