Kasule confident about Hippos' chances against Cameroon

Uganda Hippos midfielder Abubaker Kasule has said they have what it takes to eliminate Cameroon in the 2019 U20 Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Uganda takes on the West Africans on Saturday in the first leg at StarTimes Stadium in Lugogo.

"For starters, we want to win the game on Saturday. The commitment and confidence from the players also gives us courage that we can eliminate Cameroon," Kasule said.

A win for the Hippos over two legs will see them take on Mali or Tanzania in the next stage of the qualifiers.

The top four teams at the tournament to be held in Niger, will qualify for the 2019 FIFA U20 World Cup in Poland.

Zambia are the defending champions.
