Notice from Ministry of Health

The Republic of Uganda has received a loan from the International Development Association towards the cost of Uganda Reproductive Maternal and Health Services Improvement Project (URMCHIP), and intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to payments under the Contract for supply and delivery of Two Mobile Office Trucks for the National Information and Registration Authority (NIRA).

The Ministry of Health now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for Supply and Delivery of the above supplies.

Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procurement method contained in the World Bank Guidelines for procurement and the procedures described under Open Domestic Bidding procedures contained in the Government of Uganda's Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003 as amended and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Regulations.

Qualifications requirements include: The bidder shall have a financial capability evidenced by a minimum average annual turnover equivalent to twice the bid price within the last three (3) years, Experience of having performed at least 3 similar contracts in the last 5 years each with a minimum value of the bid price, and other requirements in the bidding document.
