Kabaddi is a sport the African champions Kenya are passionate about spreading to the rest of the continent after they represented Africa at the World Cup.

Actively played for only three months in Uganda, the journey has barely begun.

Led by President Thomas Binu, Uganda Kabaddi Association organised a friendly tournament with Kenya last Tuesday although the Ugandan team failed to register a win.

The men and women tournament saw Uganda's national men's side joined by the Kenya National Service Team while the women's competition was between Uganda and Kenya.

Uganda lost 35-52 to Kenya Men while the women fell 40-51 to the National Service women team that showed the gulf between the two countries.
