Crested Cranes dreams of making it to the 2018 Africa Women Cup of Nations were shattered after they were eliminated in the first round of the qualifiers by Kenya.

Faridah Bulega's were eliminated 1-0 on aggregate after playing to a goal less draw in the Africa Women Cup of Nations return leg qualifier at StarTimes stadium,Lugogo. Kenya had beaten Uganda 1-0 in the first leg.

This was the fourth outing between Uganda and Kenya in the last two years. Kenya has managed to pick three wins and a draw.

Kenya will meet Equatorial Guinea  in the final round.
