Buganda Royal Institute continued to pile more pressure on Monsoon Group leaders Isabeti Soccer Club as the National Beach Soccer League resumed over the weekend.

They defeated MS Sand Lions 7-3 to remain second in the group with 24 points, one below Isabeti Soccer Club who beat MUBS 4-1 on Sunday at Lido beach.

Deo Sengendo and Paul Luke each had a brace before Primo Kimera, Paul Kato and Amos Etiang added the other goals for Buganda Royal. Two own goals from Paul Kato and A strike from Simon Kizito were enough for MS Sand Lions.

CAF Secretary General, Amr Fahmy and his deputy Anthony Baffoe  plus members of the  CAF Futsal and Beach Soccer committee led by its chairman who also doubles as FUFA president Moses Magogo graced the weekend beach soccer league games at Lido beach in Entebbe.

Elsewhere, leaders in the Hurriken Group St Lawrence picked up a walkover after Talented beach soccer club didn't honour the fixture.

The top four teams in each of the group qualify for the playoffs at the end of the season. In the women category, table leaders Muteesa 1 Royal University put a stellar performance in the games they played. They walloped Talented Ladies 13-0 before beating Ajax Queens 3-0.
