“We have now booked a place in the play offs and hope to win all games left in the group stages even with a the bad start we had,” said Kalyoowa

Kalyoowa’s outstanding performance in the second round of the game encouraged his side to come from two goals down to draw with KIU.

St. Lawrence top Hurriken Group with 19 points whereas KIU are place second with 16 points, however the two teams unless otherwise have already booked play off slots as they lead with 12 and 9 points respectively.

Meanwhile, the three time champion, Makerere University Business School (MUBS) will need to win all the four group games left to make a straight move to the play offs.

MUBS are fifth in the Monsoon group with 11 points after Stomers who sit in the 4th position with 12 points who lost 3-1 to Buganda Royal.
