Nsimbe is charged with giving technical knowledge in on -and -off pitch training sessions.

In a desperate move to a void relegation from the Uganda Premier League, traditional giants Express have appointed seasoned coach George "best" Nsimbe as technical adviser.

The New Vision however, understands that the man in his early 50s is appointed without a contract.

In a statement released by the club, the former Kenyan side Tusker Fc coach is charged with giving technical knowledge in on -and -off pitch training sessions.

He comes with a hefty knowledge of the local game having previously won three titles with lugogo side KCCA before leaving the club in 2014.

None the less many would argue his lack of resolve with a particular team as he is used to switching clubs. At the new club, he is a man on a special mission of helping head coach Shafic Bisaso fight off relegation.

Nsimbe was a multiple winner as a player claiming league titles in 1985 and 1991 plus three Uganda Cups in 1987, 1990 and 1993.

"I'm excited about my appointment and I hope to help Express achieve their immediate target of beating relegation" he said of his new responsibility.

It is important to remember that last year the tactician was sacked after he called players at Tusker FC "over aged"

His appointment finds the Red Eagles seated at the very bottom of the Uganda Premier League on 16 points.
