KCCA v St George

KCCA  FC are 90 minutes away from becoming the first club from Uganda to progress to the CAF Champions League group stages.

The local champions on Wednesday settled for a goalless draw with Ethiopia's St George in Addis Ababa in the first leg of the first round.

This means KCCA only need to win their return leg game at StarTimes stadium, Lugogo on March 17 to make it to the group stage like they did in the CAF Confederation Cup last season.

A cash prize of $550,000 (sh1.9bn) awaits KCCA should they make it to the CAF Champions League group stages.

KCCA was last year eliminated from the Champions' League group stages by then reigning champions Mamelodi Sundowns.
