Mbarara City Football Club has sacked its head coach Ibrahim Kirya.

Kirya's dismissal follows the team poor performance in the Azam Uganda Premier League.

The former Cranes player joined the Mbarara side from URA FC last December.

In the four league games he was in charge of Mbarara, Kirya has managed two draws and loses. His two wins came in the Uganda Cup.

Kirya has also managed Sports Club Villa Jogoo and Lweza.

Mbarara City are currently eleventh in the league with 21 points from 19 games.
