Tibita strikes late for BUL FC in Uganda cup

Like he did against Sun City FC, in form  striker Hamis Tibita scored with an overhead kick after 70 minutes as BUL FC piped high flying Big League side Nyamityobora FC 1-0 in the round of 32 of the Uganda Cup at Kakindu stadium on Tuesday .

The Mbarara based club dominated the first half, but missed several scoring opportunities.

"I am happy to score today  and may be this will give me an opportunity to play for the national team in future," Tibita said.

"My team was a little nervous in first half as  we were not familiar with our opponents  as they dominated us, but I am happy that my
players responded well in second half and got that vital goal today," said BUL FC's coach Kefa Kisala.

"We dominated the first half and wasted many scoring opportunities with our pace, but I am a little disappointed that we went off in second half and we were punished for it because of our sloppy defending,''said Nyamityobora FC's tactician James Odoch .
