My husband demands my salary

MARRIAGE

My husband of four years has made me fail to enjoy the fruits of my hard work. He demands all my salary at the end of the month, claiming women are not good financial managers. He says if he lets me handle my pay, I will squander it on ‘women little things'. While I appreciate that the money I make contributes to the running of my home and making investments for my family, I am often left with no money to support my relatives. Not to talk of looking after myself as a woman. I can barely buy my children anything. I am even more bothered that when his relatives ask me for anything, I cannot help them, making them conclude that I am stingy with the money I make.  I am in a fix - an employed but penniless woman, earning a good salary.
