The organisers of the Ausi Kaya fundraising drive have called upon all stakeholders, well-wishers and friends to come in big numbers to save the life of former Uganda Cranes player Kaya.

Kaya who is now fighting for his life after being diagnosed with pulmonary tuberculosis needs sh18m to undergo surgery. Kaya has already undergone two operations.

"Ausi did a lot for this country so we need to appreciate his efforts through participating in this drive. As fans, we believe we have the potential to raise the money needed, " Meddie Ssetimba one of the organiser of the drive said.

There will be different activities during the fundraising drive. KCCA and Proline fans will face off in both netball and football matches.

They will also be a football match between Ausi Kaya friends and a fans select side.

Kaya who will also be present at Lugogo will be comforted by players from KCCA, Proline and Police.
