KCCA FC coach Mike Mutebi says his players deserve to play at big stages such as the CAF Champions League.

Mutebi was speaking ahead of KCCA's CAF game with CNaPS SPORT from Madagascar this weekend.

"These players worked tooth and nail to be here and they deserve to play at this big stage. They have proved they are ready for the opportunity and I will give them the opportunity to play and show what they can do," Mutebi said.

"I have a crop of hungry young players who are ready to play and am sure they will grab the opportunity with both hands. Coupled with the experience of the senior players in the squad, this team has all that it takes to achieve the best."

The league champions visit CNaPS SPORT from Madagascar in the first leg this Saturday, with the return leg set to be played on February 21 at StarTimes stadium, Lugogo.

The winner between both sides will either face Ethiopia's St George or South Sudan's Al Salam Wau.
