BUNDIBUGYO - A woman in Kihoko village, Harugale sub-county in Bundibugyo district on Wednesday chopped off her husband's genitals after the two picked up a quarrel over sex.

The couple has reportedly been having domestic issues since David Kule, 45, found his wife, Elisa Kabugho in a bar with another woman.

"Ever since I found my wife in the bar with another man, she changed her ways. We separated beds and every time I request for sex, she would refuse, until yesterday when I insisted on having sex with her and she pulled my male genitals, peeling off the fore skin," Kule said.

The Bundibugyo district Police, Swaibu Taban, said the Police are investigating the matter as they hunt for Kabugho.

Taban said the woman, who is at large, grabbed her husband's genitals and she pulled them until the fore skin went off.

He said domestic violence is still high in the district because they receive at least four such cases every week.

Taban urged local leaders to sensitise their communities in order to avoid such issues in the area.

The couple has been married for close to 20 years and the have one child.

On the other hand. the residents say the couple has have been many issues for years.

They allege that the man used to take a lot of alcohol and every time he came home, he would beat up his wife and now the woman was only retariating.
