KJT dump URA FC out of Uganda Cup

Nicholas Kabonge was the hero of the day as Kampala Junior Team (KJT) eliminated league giants URA FC in the Uganda Cup over the weekend.

Kabonge notched KJT's only goal as they progressed to the round of 32 of the Uganda Cup. URA FC who finished the first round of the local league seventh with 20 points.

Elsewhere, Water ejected Maroons 1-0, while Bright Stars beat Vura 1-0.

This year's Uganda Cup final will be held in June in Kumi district. Winners of the Uganda Cup represent the country in the CAF Confederation Cup.
