Futsal chairman, Hamza Junju is proud of what the competition has achieved.

Following the conclusion of the first round of the Uganda futsal league last week, property governors, KSPG will have to deal with the blow of going into the second round in second place.

Having gone almost the whole first round unbeaten, KSPG lost to Typhoons, which was closely followed by a 4 all draw with free scoring Dream who went into the second round as table leaders on goal difference.

Dream's shocking 9-1 humbling of fifth placed Park FC, saw the former take over leadership in a game that saw striker Mutyaba Sulaiman scoring six and taking his season's tally to 23, making him the top scorer.

Futsal chairman, Hamza Junju is proud of what the competition has achieved.

"It is a great league so far as the teams have managed to fulfill their obligations with great goals and great competition. The fans attendance has also been good. In the second round, we expect improved competition among the teams," he said.

Meanwhile, the league's transfer window is now open and each club is eligible to bring in five new players.
