The Hima Cement Heathens’ three defeats in the Nile Special Rugby Premier League have all come against decent opposition.

Today they entertain their fiercest rivals at Kyadondo Rugby Club as they seek to put their season back on track.

The last time the two teams met, the Heathens defeated the Kobs 31-17.

This time round, the Kobs are in a better position and believe their commitment this season will help them deal with the Heathens.

“The difference in the team this season is we are more committed to training, we want to win. The mentality of the players has also changed and the new coach (Ronnie Lutakome) has also helped a lot,” Kobs team Captain Brian Asaba said.

The defending champions are in fifth position, while the Kobs are leading the table with a five point gap on Pirates who are second and  Rhinos occupy third place.

Heathens have all the work to do as they seek to slash the 12 point deficit they have on the men from across the road.

Asaba believes his team’s impressive results is due to the improvement in many members of the squad such as  Adrian Kasiito, Justine kimono and Davis Kiwalabye among others.

The improvements have made departures like Joseph Aredo’s insignificant.
