KCCA FC sign Okwalinga from Mbarara FC

KCCA coach Mike Mutebi is signing new players to replace striker Derrick Nsibambi, left back Isaac Muleme and goalkeeper Benjamin Ochan.

Solomon Okwalinga is the latest player to join KCCA FC. The attacking midfielder signed a three deal with defending champions from Mbarara City FC.

Okwalinga, came to the limelight during his time with FUFA Big League side Synergy last season where he scored eight goals. He Joins Steven Bengo (Express), goalkeeper Tom Ikara (Kirinya Jinja) and Hassan Musana (BUL) as the other new signings for KCCA.

Muleme and Ochan have been linked with Alassiouty Sport in Egypt and Nkana FC in Zambia respectively. Nsibambi has three offers from Egypt, but KCCA are yet to decide which club to sell him to.

KCCA will fly the nation's national colours when they face CNaPS SPORT from Madagascar in the preliminary round of the 2018 CAF Champions League on February 9 with the return leg expected to be played between February 16-18.
