URA FC has sacked Coach Ibrahim Kirya and his technical team.

Kirya's dismissal with his assistant coach and goalkeeping coach James Odoch and Sadiq Wassa, came after the club posted unimpressive results ever since the season started.

The most recent was when they played to 1 all draw with Mbarara City on Tuesday at Mandela National stadium, Namboole. 

"Coach Kirya has been relieved of his duties, plus his technical team. The new coach will be unveiled on Friday at 2:00pm at Namboole," stated club secretary Moses Kaduyu.

Sources at the club say Paul Nkata will be the next coach at URA. He was spotted on Wednesday taking the team through drills in Gayaza, where the team trains.

Nkata will be deputised by Hamza Kalanzi. The duo will be in charge as URA takes on Onduparaka this Friday at Namboole.

In the 14 matches URA has far so played this season, they have managed to win and draw five games.
