Dec 19, 2017

DEADLINE: 31st December 2017

Jhpiego, is a nonprofit global leader in the creation and delivery of transformative health care solutions for the developing world.

In partnership with national governments, health experts and local communities, we build health providers' skills, and we develop systems that save lives now and guarantee healthier futures for women and their families. Our aim is revolutionizing health care for the planet's most disadvantaged people.

Jhpiego is a nonprofit NGO that prevents the needless deaths of women and families in limited resources settings. To accomplish this, Jhpiego implements innovative evidence-based solutions for intractable problems in health to overcome barriers to high-quality care services for the world's most vulnerable populations.

Jhpiego is the implementing partner for the East Africa Accelerator Hub for an exciting project called The Challenge Initiative (TCI) - known as Tupange Pamoja in East Africa.

The project is funded by Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF) through The Bill & Melinda Gates Institute for Population and Reproductive Health, Department of Population, Family & Reproductive Health at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.

This is a multifaceted program focused on the rapid expansion of urban family planning programs worldwide but with focus on the largest cities in Asia and Africa.

TCI is an ambitious program that leverages a matching challenge fund mechanism to provide incentives for the rapid scale up of urban family planning programs through a framework of accountability measures, demand driven participation of cities, and technical support via at least four regional accelerator hubs.

We are seeking experienced individuals with excellent organizational and technical skills, who are team players, dedicated, hardworking, innovative, highly motivated and able to work in a high-pressure environment requiring multi-tasking abilities.  CLICK HERE FOR MORE ON THIS JOBS
