Team Eastern captain Emilly Kawesa will be hoping that his teammates can put up a formidable performance against big guns from Buganda who are led by ever green Fortune Ssentamu in today's Ani asinga Busoga-Buganda motocross championship at Mainstreet Primary School playground.
''Not even weather will stop us from proving our superior capability against the Buganda riders today (Saturday). We have worked on our machines and we feel that we are more than ready to give them a serious challenge.
It's our fans who will be there to witness that Busoga region of the cradleland for motocross,'' said Kawesa who doubles as a national rally driver.
The coordinator of the event Joseph Mutaka revealed that before the main event, there will be a youth championships between the age of 5-12 years. Thereafter, an open championship among adults will kick off.
We shall have the youths from competing amongst themselves, thereafter adults from 18 to 75 years will compete in the final event," said Mutaka .
