Gen. Mugisha Muntu calls for dialogue

The visibly happy Muntu told journalists that meetings would resolve the differences in the Party’s methodologies, defiance and organisation.

Outgoing Fdc Party president Gen. Mugisha Muntu has called for dialogue as as a solution to the current deadlock in the Party, starting next week.

Gen. Muntu has made a declaration in the company of Fdc MPs who included among others the leader of opposition in parliament Winnie Kiiza and opposition chief whip Ibrahim Ssemujju Nganda.

The visibly happy Muntu told journalists that meetings would resolve the differences in the Party's methodologies, defiance and organisation.

Asked on whether he was quitting the Party, Muntu replied he doesn't intend to rush to make such a decision.

He has also vowed to resurrect the campaign against removal of the presidential age limit after handing over.

Muntu called for calm from the party members.
