SC Villa opened a five-point lead on the league standinga after beating Masavu 3-0 away in Entebbe to move to 28 points, five above joint second KCCA and Police.
Villa who last won a league title in 2004 are so far the most on form team in the top flight league.
They have not lost any game in their last ten. They have won eight and drawn two. Yubu Bogere, Abel Eturude and Bernard Muwanga each had a goal for SC Villa.
Elsewhere, URA came from a goal down to beat Vipers 2-1 at St Mary's stadium, Kitende.
Henry Kisekka and Shafik Kagimu were on target for URA while Milton Karisa scored a consolation for Vipers.
In Mbarara, defending champions KCCA settled to a goalless draw with Mbarara City.
