Muhammad Shaban scored a hattrick as KCCA FC thrashed Soana 4-0 to move second in the Azam Uganda Premier league.

Shaban who was only recently cleared to feature for KCCA after a disputed transfer, took his tally to four goals in two games for his new side.

Derrick Nsibambi scored the other for KCCA who are level on 19 points with SC Villa and Onduparaka and one point off Police at the top.

Police came from a goal down to beat URA 2-1 at Namboole as they maintained top slot in league.

Hood Kaweesa scored a brace to go top of the scoring charts with six goals while Henry Kisekka struck for URA.

Vipers continued to struggle as they could only settled for a 1-1 draw with Maroons.

Solomon Walusimbi had given Maroons the lead before Yayo Lutimba equalised for Vipers.

In Masaka, George Senkaaba scored the only goal as SC Villa defeated Bright Stars 1-0.

Express whose coach Douglas Bamweyana resigned only this week, came from a goal down to beat Proline 2-1 at StarTimes Stadium.

Dan Sserunkuma and Mubaraka Nsubuga each scored for Express while Fahad Bayo scored for Proline.

Eleazar Okorie and Brian Ahebwa were on target as Mbarara City who sacked their coach Vialli Bainomugisha recently, beat UPDF 2-1 at Kakyeka Stadium. Sulaiman Manjanjalo scored for bottom side UPDF.

Goalkeeper Nicholas Sebwato scored a penalty as Onduparaka beat ten-man Kirinya Jinja SS at Greenlight Stadium in Arua.

Kirinya's Joel Madondo was given his marching orders after two bookable offences.

In Entebbe, Ddumba Sadala scored the only goal of the game for Masavu as they stunned BUL 1-0.
