Northern Uganda entertainment awards to go down in Kampala?

Something is not right with this story; perhaps it is the carrier of the news or the organisers of this award ceremony.

News reaching us confirms that the organisers of the second season of the Northern Uganda entertainment awards have decided to bring the award ceremony to Kampala instead of say Gulu or Lira.

The first season was held at Lira Hotel in Lira in 2015 but skipped 2016 because of the election saga in the north.

The organisers led by a one Allan and another Passy met with journalists in Kampala earlier this week and claimed that the awards ceremony  will take place in Kampala so they could appeal to a bigger audience.

Apparently, all northern Uganda artistes were given forms and codes and voting is already going on till December 3, 2017.

The winners will get a car and sh1m respectively.
