AGE LIMIT | OGENGA LATIGO

Former Leader of Opposition and Agago North MP Prof. Ogenga Latigo has defended his decision not to return the sh29m given to MPs to consult on the age limit Bill.

A section of Opposition legislators returned the money to the Parliament commission, saying it was a bribe, meant to compromise their rejection of the amendment.

Latigo said the decision to return the money was individual. He said he used the money to consult over 90% of his constituents, who rejected the Bill.
