A group of Journalists from various media houses have stormed out a Democratic Party (DP) weekly press conference after party leaders failed to keep time.

The fuming pressmen and women said the conference was schedule for 10:00am, but they waited for two hours without hearing from the party leadership.

"We are sick and tired of people who cannot keep time. We came here as early as 9:00am, but no one has come out to address us," Robert Ssenkumba, a journalist working a local FM radio said.

The press conference was slated to be addressed by the party president Norbert Mao who was allegedly caught up in traffic.

"The party president is supposed to address the conference, but he had been delayed in traffic. So please  bear with us and wait a little longer," the party spokesperson Fred Mwesigwa said as he struggled to calm down the angry journalists.

In response some journalists were heard telling the DP publicist: "This is not the first time you are failing to keep time. This has been going on for some time, we can no longer stomach this anymore."

The journalists advised the party office administrator to tell their leaders to improve on time management or else the boycott will continue.
