Wakiso Hills 1 Isra Academy 3

New league entrants Isra Academy came from a goal down to beat Wakiso Hills 3-1 over weekend in the FUFA Women Elite League.

A double from Fauzia Najjemba and Sophia Nakiyingi’s goal helped Isra win their first game in the league while Amina Kalemba scored a consolation for Wakiso Hills.

The victory took Isra top of Elizabeth Group with five points.

Elsewhere, She Mak thrashed Eastern Heroes 3-0 at Makerere University grounds.

Captain Anne Mary Kobusingye struck twice while Fabby Kitimbo added the other. 

In the Victoria Group, Juliet Nalukenge scored twice as defending champions Kawempe Muslim beat Muteesa 2-0 away at Wankulukuku Stadium while She Corporates thrashed Rines 5-0.

Jennifer Mirembe was on the scoresheet twice before Aisha Babirye, Noeline Namubiru and Mary Jean Iyezimana added other for the Nakawa based side.

In Western Uganda, Lilian Veronica Zedi scored the only goal as Gafford Ladies beat Western United 1-0.
