Olanya said the Opposition MPs who are putting pressure on other MPs to return the money to the treasury do not have challenges in their constituencies

Kilak South Member of Parliament, Gilbert Olanya, has said he will use the sh29m meant for consultation on age limit Bill to improve services in his constituency in Amuru district.

Olanya who was speaking to journalists on Friday from his office in Akurukwe trading centre,  said he will use the money to repair 30 boreholes and 20 community roads in the villages and buy fuel for the two ambulances to transport expectant mothers and patients to hospital.

"I will spend the money on service delivery before I go back to Parliament," Olanya said.

He said the Opposition MPs who are putting pressure on other MPs to return the money to the treasury do not have challenges in their constituencies.

"Our Opposition Chief Whip is calling for MPs to return the money describing it as dirty money, yet our people in the communities are struggling with bad roads and contaminated water. I will use the money to address some of these problems," Olanya said.
