The Central Executive Committee (CEC) of the National Resistance Movement (NRM) party had a cordial discussion on a Bill that seeks to remove the presidential age limit from the Constitution, the party's deputy secretary general, Richard Todwong, has said.

"It was a cordial discussion. No one was unhappy with anybody. We all agreed on a position as a team," Todwong told New Vision in a WhatsApp message, shortly after the meeting had ended.

CEC, which is the second highest policy organ of the NRM after the national delegates' conference, yesterday met at State House in Entebbe to adopt a common position for or against the controversial Bill.
