Do the Ghetto kids regret BET 2017 award? 

Since ghetto kids successfully won the BET 2017 award, they have never been at ease in their community. Their neigbours  expect them to behave, eat and speak like Americans.

When any of them is seen buying a rolex, they laugh at them. "How do ‘Americans' eat rolex? 

"We are not free like life used to be. People do not understand that we went to USA to perform. We are Ugandans and nothing has changed," said Ssentongo a group member.

"Playing our music on radio and TVs is also a problem now. They ask for money to play our music thinking we have a lot of money," he said.

The group manager/founder Dauda Kavuma is also concerned that some Ugandan musicians want the group to feature in their music videos on meagre payments.
