Hassan Alwi beat Ronald Ssebuguzi to win the KCCA Carnival sprint in Naguru on Saturday.

Alwi navigated by Joseph Kamya in a Subaru N14 posted the fastest time; five minutes, three seconds and 56 microseconds, beating Ssebuguzi navigated by Leon Ssenyange in Mitsubishi Evo 10.

Omar Mayanja navigated by Hussein Mukuye and Kuku Ranjit navigated by Musa Nsubuga in a Mitsubishi Evo10 finished third and fourth respectively.

Arthur Blick navigated by Nowella Blick in a Subaru N10 finished fifth, while Ambrose Byona navigated by Derrick Lubambula finished sixth.

It was a perfect revenge for the East Africa International University sponsored crew of Alwi who lost by a similar margin to team Ssebuguzi last year.

A total of 34 drivers competed and completed the event that is also counted on the national rally calendar.
