IGP Kayihura hands over office

The Inspector General of Police, Gen. Kale Kayihura has asked children to be ambitious at becoming future leaders.

Kayihura made the remarks on Friday morning in a meeting with Kampala Parents School pupils who paid him a courtesy visit at his office at Naguru in Kampala.

"I am happy to see such young girls with ambitions of taking over from us," Kayihura said.

As a sign of encouraging the girls, Kayihura, handed over his office and a file to the day's acting IGP Elizabeth Atukunda.  Kayihura's deputies witnessed the ceremony. 

Atukunda looks forward to becoming a leader in Uganda.
