INTRODUCTION

Government of Uganda through Ministry of Health received a loan of US $ 85 Million from the African Development Bank (US $70M) and Nigerian Trust Fund (US $15M) to Improve Health Services Delivery in Mulago Hospital and the City of Kampala over a 5-year period (July 2012- September 2018).

The project objectives are to improve delivery of quality health services in Mulago Hospital & the City of Kampala; Decongest Mulago Hospital by improving services at the division levels and Strengthen Medical Education & Research capacity of Mulago Hospital and Makerere University College of Health Sciences (MakCHS).
