"I love the terrain and I am itching to walk uphill to Kapchorwa town," Ayeni said.

Ayeni who is on a mission to highlight the plight of climate change and to inspire Ugandans to plant trees over the weekend covered parts of Kibuku and Budaka before making a grand entry into Mbale.

"Climate change is here and it is important to do something about it," said Walter Kahuma, the assistant communications officer at World Wide Fund for nature (Uganda Country Office). "We hope that Ayeni's call for climate change inspires people to act."
