Police hold Besigye over age limit debate

The CPS DPC Joseph Bakaleke tried to plead with Besigye to drive to CPS, but he refused,rolling his car windows up
Today morning, the Police acted quickly to thwart what they suspected would be a big protest had the politicians been able to enter the city centre.

Despite keeping a keen eye on most of the opposition politicians, some of them eluded the Police and entered the city.

Among those was FDC former president and four-time presidential candidate Col. Kizza Besigye. However, as soon as the Police got wind of it, they swung into action. They found Besigye in his car near Mini-Price supermarket waving to supporters.

They surrounded his vehicle and despite pleas from CPS DPC Joseph Bakaleke, calling him to get out of the city, he refused, rolling his car winmdows up.

This prompted the Police to use a break down vehicle to tow his car to CPS.
